In January 2008, we moved the site from our free hosting to a dedicated hosting service, resulting in an estimated annual baseline expenditure of $240 to keep the site running. That figure could go up depending on bandwidth usage and potential growth resulting in the need for more disk space or memory, though at the time of this writing, it doesn't appear that we'll see an increase in the near future.

If you enjoy using the site, we hope you'll make a small donation to help defray the hosting costs. Any money that comes in above and beyond the goal of $250 will be banked and applied toward future hosting costs and domain renewals. In the event that the site is dissolved, any remaining funds will be donated to the American Humanist Association on behalf of the members of this site (if you're not ok with that, please don't donate). Our preference is to receive many micro-donations; from our perspective, 50 people donating $5 each is preferable to 10 people donating $25 each.
